Are you ready to focus on the craft of your writing?
If you're looking to improve flow, clarify meaning, and tighten up your language while addressing grammar, punctuation, and consistency, then you’re ready for Line and Copy Editing.

Do you want feedback on the structure of your story?
Are you wondering about plot holes, character arcs, pacing, or world-building? If so, you're looking for Developmental Editing, a big-picture edit that helps shape your story from the inside out.

About Me

Hi, I'm Alex, the editor behind Alchemy Edit.

I hold a copyediting certificate from UC San Diego and have completed additional training in developmental editing through the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA).

Although I love being an editor, at my core, I’m a reader first. Getting lost in new worlds and helping shape meaningful stories is my favorite part of the job. When I’m not buried in a manuscript, you can find me out hiking the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains or baking gluten-free treats for my two daughters.
